Running Head: VISION STATEMENT OF INDIVIDUAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN 0 Vision Statement Peterkin Anyanwu Grand Canyon University LDE-612-0500 May 26, 2021 My fundamental objective is to improve my mentee’s quality of life via personal growth. I am allowing him to reach his full potential and enhance his quality of life, making it easier for him to accomplish his dreams promptly, allowing him to achieve more, and inspire others. I possess the ability to determine the strengths and weaknesses of my mentee after I interact with him and foretell what he can do best, hence assisting him in knowing what he can do best. Then, after determining various options that he can try, I always present to him and decide based on his interests and likes; thus, he can do what he loves. The mentee will be able to build human capital, which will also be a great tool in assisting him in realizing his aspirations through my guidance in every step that I am going to take him. I will lead the way in ensuring that the process of personal development that takes the lifespan of a person has taken the shortest period, thus increasing the productivity of a person and his self-esteem. I will also guide my mentee in building the skills he possesses by directing him in the best practices to increase the probability of increasing the efficiency of his abilities. Furthermore, the mentee has the advantage of being guided on other skills that can be combined with the ones he is having, making him more marketable and competitive than those who only have one particular skill. Moreover, I will be able to increase the mentee’s knowledge on matters concerning life and his choices. He also understands why he should make certain decisions, the advantages and disadvantages of various options which he can make. Finally, I will impact my mentee to obtain self-motivation, which will make him more responsible.
