As we close the day on the 75th Anniversary of D-Day hearing this speech was somber based on the action from the United States and other Allied Forces to work together to capture Normandy.

This was a well written speech and the tone and speed while giving the speech gave a visual of things that happened without giving to much detail. Recognizing hero’s for gallant actions in Combat is a wonderful thing, This is another way to show those that returned home and their families that we truly appreciate their loved ones sacrifice.

Our former President was a great speaker who could adjust to his audience.
