In-text citation basics:
1) All quoted information taken from a story must be presented with a signal phrase and cited with in-text citation.
2) A good signal phrase will indicate who is speaking.
3) The in-text citation should include the author’s last name, the year of publication, and the page number from the bottom of the PDF.
Examples:
