Assignment 5: Web Browser Interface

Tip: Reference pages 284 to 290 of the Android Boot Camp textbook when completing this assignment.

At a minimum, you must complete the following for this assignment:

• Calculate the Length of an Array (Tip: See Figure 7-23 on page 285 of the Android Boot Camp textbook.)
• Code the getView Method (Tip: See Figures 7-24 to 7-28 on pages 287 to 289 of the Android Boot Camp textbook.)
• Run and Test the Application

Compile a four to five (4-5) page paper in which you:

1. Provide a screenshot of the Length of an Array along with the developed code.
2. Provide a screenshot of the getView Method along with the developed code.
3. Provide screenshots of the running and testing of the application along with the developed code.

Your assignment must follow these formatting requirements:

• Be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides. Check with your professor for any additional instructions.
• Include a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student’s name, the professor’s name, the course title, and the date. The cover page and the reference page are not included in the required assignment page length.

The specific course learning outcomes associated with this assignment are:

• Develop applications capable of running on wireless or handheld devices.
• Articulate the basic concepts of mobile user interfaces, layouts, touch, and menus.
• Describe and apply the different types of application models used to develop mobile software applications.
