The purpose of this exercise is for you to think about a way you could modify and ‘Lighten Up’ a recipe.
We learned in lab that there are a variety of ways we can make something healthier: we can substitute
vegan protein sources for animal products that are high in saturated fat; we can increase the proportion
of fruits and vegetables in an entrée; we can use reduced-fat products; we can bake or sauté instead of
fry; or we can even a little from all of these
