Benefits and Limitations of Strategic Planning
There’s an obligation for leaders to help followers view the change of their organization in the context of social, political, economic, and technical endeavor (Bryson, 2011). This pursuit does, however, constitute the ethical guideline that shapes the functionality of an organization which hinges and adopts the norms accepted by society. Despite challenges, this practice tends to be a tool that keeps the values of an organization in tight amidst circumstances that may undermine principles. But the limitation of ethics in the context of planning would be reflected based on its interference with situations that may compromise the interest of the organization.
As relates the financial benefits and limitations of an organization’s strategic plan, it would be expedient that issues related to finance must be visible to display a level of honesty which certainly creates subsequent prospect for benefits that may impact organizational behavior. The benefit tends to be limited based on an instance when the organization has exceeded its limits in planning. But the cultural is the characterization of a behavioral pattern that individuals adopt from the practice of the organization’s norms. However, the limitations are tied to the pattern of the organization’s functionality. In these situations, however, ever-changing stakeholders might impact the plan based on the changing nature and also depend on factors that may determine the outcome of the plans.
